These programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to address critical public health challenges and translate research into impactful policy changes.
A Warm Welcome and Bright Future
To ensure a smooth transition into their academic journey, ACEPHAP organized an orientation program for the newly admitted students. The orientation covered important topics such as the Bayero University Kano (BUK) code of conduct, guidelines, security protocols, library access, and general behavioral expectations.
Professor Hadiza Galadanci, the Director of ACEPHAP, emphasized the unique privileges enjoyed by regional students, thanks to the center's support from the World Bank. These benefits include full tuition waivers, accommodation, return airfare, and a monthly stipend.
As these talented students embark on their academic journey at ACEPHAP, we are confident that they will make significant contributions to public health and policy in their respective countries and beyond.
