To achieve this, the Centre organised a 5-day PRIME partners Research Capacity Workshop aimed at training and improving not only the research capacity of the centre’s partners, but also on the strategy of implementing research outcomes.     Bayero University Management is not surprised by the quantum of successes so far recorded by the African Centre of Excellence for Population Health and Policy (ACEPHAP), within its core mandates of research and postgraduate training, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas has disclosed.

The Africa Center of Excellence for Population Health and Policy (ACEPHAP) is one of the World Bank supported African Centre of Excellence which is aimed at strengthening interdisciplinary approaches to promote population health outcome through training and research for evidence-informed policy development in West and Central Africa.
